Terms

Last updated July 2, 2026. These terms explain the basic rules for downloading, purchasing, licensing, and using Tileform.

About Tileform

Tileform is a desktop app for building 3D models from sprite sheets, palette colors, and tile-based surface editing. The app is actively developed, and features, file behavior, licensing flow, and export options may change over time.

Downloads And Installation

Download Tileform only from tileform.xyz or the linked GitHub release archive. Tileform installers are not code signed yet, so macOS or Windows may show a warning before first launch. The verification page explains how to compare installer checksums against published release files.

Demo Mode

Demo mode allows creating, editing, saving, and loading Tileform project files. A paid license unlocks model export. Demo mode is provided so you can evaluate whether Tileform works for your setup before purchasing.

Purchases

Tileform licenses are sold as a one-time purchase through Stripe. Prices are shown before checkout. Taxes, payment methods, receipts, disputes, and payment processing may be handled by Stripe according to the checkout configuration available in your location.

License Use

A Tileform license is intended for one person using the app on their own computers. The standard activation limit is three devices. You may not resell, publish, share, or redistribute your activation code or license file. Team, studio, classroom, or unusual activation needs can be handled separately by contacting support.

Updates

A Tileform license includes access to app updates that are made available through the normal release channel. Update availability, platform support, and specific features are not guaranteed forever, but the goal is to keep licensed users on the current version whenever possible.

Refunds

If Tileform does not work on your setup, contact support within 14 days of purchase with your order email, operating system, Tileform version, and a short description of the issue. Refunds are reviewed case by case and may be handled through Stripe. Refunds do not cover misuse, license sharing, or requests made after substantial use unless required by applicable law.

Acceptable Use

You are responsible for the projects, textures, models, and assets you create or import. Do not use Tileform in a way that violates laws, infringes someone else’s rights, or attempts to bypass licensing or security systems.

No Warranty

Tileform is provided as-is. While care is taken to make the app useful and stable, no guarantee is made that it will be error-free, compatible with every system, or suitable for every project. Keep backups of important project files.

Limitation Of Liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Tileform’s liability is limited to the amount paid for your license. Tileform is not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or business losses arising from use of the app or website.

Changes

These terms may be updated as Tileform, its licensing system, payment provider setup, and release process evolve. The updated date at the top of this page shows when the current version was published.

Support

Support is available by email at help@tileform.xyz. Include your operating system, Tileform version, and steps to reproduce the issue when reporting bugs.
